How can I find status on a new business case?

Email or call your Case Manager directly, see the Contact page for information.  Or login to the Case Status page.  All of your pending cases will be listed there.  We update the information regarding your case status immediately as it becomes available.

What is Broker Gear?

Broker Gear is a software system designed to provide solutions for financial professionals.  Agents use Broker Gear's web enabled tools to view case status, print forms, order supplies, check licensing or appointments and more all from our website.  You can even download illustration software and updated from all of your carriers from one place.

 

How do I download and install illustration software?

Click on the Software link from our website, then enter your User ID and password.  Next select the appropriate company from the "Carrier" list, select "All" from the "Product Material" list and click the "Search" button.

This will create a list of all downloads available for that specific carrier.  Instructions for most downloads are listed on this page as well.  When you find the download you need, right-click the link for that download and select "Save Target As".  This will allow you save the installation program on your computer.  Once the download is complete you can open and install the downloaded installation program.

It is very important to check your software regularly for web updates and new versions so that your illustrations will always be up to date.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or problems.

 

What is my User ID and password?

If you forgot your password, go to the Agent Services login page and click "Forgot your password? Click here".  You can then enter your user ID.  The system will automatically send your password to the email address on file for your account.

What is my agent number with a particular company?

License numbers are shown on the Licensing page.  Use your User ID and password to access your Licensing information, or contact us and we can pull your appointment data for you.

 

How do you determine a potential client's underwriting class?

Our years of experience and relationships with top of the line providers gives us great insight into Life Insurance underwriting.  By examining a clients medical history, current health, as well as age, weight and height, we can determine a specific class or group of possible classes.  We will always work to get your client the most appropriate classification possible, however it is important to keep in mind that not every client can qualify at the best class.  Our goal is to find the best "fit" for your client among the many different producers, products, and classifications to properly set the expectations of your client while minimizing premiums, maximizing benefits and optimizing commissions.
